Elijah Chester
is an international Voice Teacher, Vocal & Acting Coach and GRAMMY & DOVE Award winning performer.
He is accomplished in helping professional and aspiring performing artists of all ages develop their voices and acting techniques for a variety of venues, from the NYC stage and film/TV scene, the Nashville commercial music industry, or local community or school theatre. Highly skilled and an expert in finding your true and natural voice, and developing a technique that will give you range and flexibility in multiple music styles, depending on your need. He provides specific, functional contemporary training which consistently bridges the technical and stylistic gaps between Broadway, modern, pop, rock singing and even traditional classical approaches to singing.
Elijah’s students have excelled in various venues of performing from Broadway to Nashville, as well as college, community and school settings.
In addition, with his 33 yrs of acting performance and training, he is able to train his stage and film actors in a range of skills from audition techniques, to character development and scene work, to the nuts and bolts of acting on camera for both beginners and seasoned actors.
His teaching has now stretched across the world where he regularly teaches at several Universities across the cities of Bangkok & Chiang Mai, Thailand.
